The Wyoming legislature passed HB0131, “Nuclear power generation and storage-amendments”, in 2022. This legislation paved the way for Bill Gates to build nuclear power plants in Wyoming, and to install, plants (nuclear) at mining sites in Wyoming. These plants are the size of semi-trailers, and will supply power to the mine. The storage of the nuclear rods will be on the mine property. Then larger reactors will be built, on the location, of existing coal-fired power plants in Wyoming. The costs associated with clean-up, post-closer, of these plants will be excused if the plant converts to nuclear.

Mr. Gates the founder of, TerraPower, was interviewed in Kemmer, Wyoming, where he praised the new Russian designed “sodium cooled” reactors. TerraPower, will build, with tax-exemptions, government funding, and investments in TerraPower. Gate’s nuclear reactors are designed by Russia. The reactors have a fuel, that has a higher percentage of uranium-235, than used by conventional reactors. There is a concern this fuel, which is supplied by Russia, could be used for nuclear weapons, Edwin Lyman, Union of Concerned Scientists. The power plants will achieve approval from the nuclear regulatory commission. NRC spokes person, Scott Burneell, said “the agency is confident its current requirements will maintain both security and public safety of any reactors that are built and their fuel.” Mr. Gates stated “this project wouldn’t be happening with out strong support from Gov Mark Gordon and Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis.” Gates has assured this new nuclear is necessary to save the planet form global warming caused by CO2. His book “How to avoid a climate disaster”, 2021, is a “plan for how the world can get to zero greenhouse gas emissions in time to avoid a climatic catastrophe.” The plan is to build, Russian designed, fuel supplied, natrium nuclear plants in Wyoming. The LSO has stated, “the fiscal impact in the form of a revenue decrease to the general fund, due to providing tax exemptions imposed on the advanced nuclear reactors operated in accordance with W.S. 35-11-2101, is indeterminable.”

Do you remember the movie, “Dr. Strangelove, or how I learned to love the bomb”, in the end of the movie, the bomber’s pilot, climbs on the nuclear bomb, waving his cowboy hat, hollering “yeh ha” rides it to detonation.

I must have missed the phone call from Mr. Gates. The call, where he asked me, if I wanted to live in a state loaded with Russian nuclear reactors. We live daily with Yellowstone mega volcano, what is a few reactors, except, somebody will make money, off the reactors, nobody will make money off the volcano.
